About our Horses:
PAST
Starting in 1966, with the purchase of a paint gelding named Rebel, CRF added Traveller in 1977; and Ides of Cache joined us in 1984. Classy was the 1988 VQHA Novice Equitation Champion. Halo Below came to CRF in 1987, giving us our two present hunter champions, Chase the Crown and Royal Play.
The late Part Time Blues was shown from 1989 to 1998 on the Quarter Horse circuit. In addition to top 5 placings every year, he was the 1989 3 YO Halter Gelding Reserve Champion; and the 1993 Amateur Hunter Hack Reserve Champion.
PRESENT:
Chase the Crown was born in 1989; and Royal Play was born in 1991. Both mares were shown on the local and "A" rated hunter circuit before retiring.
Chase the Crown was the 2000 CHSA Schooling Hunter Champion, and placed third in the Open Hunter Division. Royal Play was the 2002 CHSA Schooling Hunter Champion two years after having our new star, C. Royal Wolf.
FUTURE:
Havana Royal was born in 1993. Nealy was 4th in the 2000 VQHA Yearling Geldings Futurity and 4th in the state the same year; the 2003 CVHSA 3rd place Adult Equitation Champion, 5th in the Hunter Pleasure Horse; and in 2007, the VQHA Open Adult Hunter Champion.
C. Royal Wolf is just starting his show career.
